Founder of Venice Nutrition and the International Board of Nutrition and Fitness Coaching (IBNFC)
Best-selling author of Body Confidence and Why Kids Make You Fat…and How to Get Your Body Back
Featured health expert for national media outlets including Dr. Oz, CNN, Access Hollywood, Chelsea Lately, and the co-host of HLN’s “Transformation Tuesdays”
Mark founded Venice Nutrition in 1999 as a general weight loss and muscle-toning program for fitness professionals, but he knew that to reach more people with his nutrition system, he would need to create a network of nutrition coaches and centers. In 2003, he founded the International Board of Nutrition and Fitness Coaching (IBNFC) to create a dynamic, national nutrition certification program, shortly followed by an online nutrition program in 2006. Venice Nutrition now has more than 500 Venice Nutrition Partners globally and certified coaches around the world.
In 2011, he became the New York Times best-selling author of Body Confidence, which generated national media exposure that catapulted his nutrition and fitness messages into the mainstream. His second book Why Kids Make You Fat…and How to Get Your Body Back quickly became a best seller, cementing Mark’s reputation as one of the top nutrition and fitness experts in the world.
Mark is a featured health expert for a number of national media outlets including CNN, HLN, and the Tennis Channel, as well Dr. OZ, Access Hollywood, the 700 Club, and The Chelsea Show.
