The Chapter Chair Opportunity

Chair Responsibilities
The GLO Chapter Chair, with support from the GLO Senior Team, is responsible for the start-up, growth, and success of the chapter at the local level, through members, sponsors, and investors. Chairs will lead the membership attendance and coordination of monthly chapter meetings to attract and retain business owners, principals, and entrepreneurs who have a minimum of $500,000 in revenue or 3 employees or $1 Million P&L responsibility.
Chair Compensation
Besides the connections to grow their own business, another exciting aspect of being a GLO Chapter Chair are the financial compensations. A Chapter Chair can be rewarded in multiple ways. Chair compensation comes in the form of:
- Percentage of chapter memberships fees
- Percentage of sponsorships investment
- Percentage of investor platform (capital), and
- Percentage of marketplace spend (the marketing of products and services)
There are no limits or caps to compensation for Chairs. All GLO resources are committed to the growth and success of each chapter and its Chair and members.

- Business leader – are you running a small business or have built businesses and have developed strong business acumen
- Networker – do you network frequently or do a lot of networking for your business
- Entrepreneurial and growth-minded spirit – do you think in terms of growth, success, and making things happen
- Chair experience – Experience running Vistage, EO, YPO, chamber, or other types of teams besides in your company
- Facilitator – Experience putting together events, filling rooms with attendees, managing events, and controlling large groups
- Marketing/Sales Driven – are you comfortable with both aspects of marketing and selling to attract new members, sponsors and investors
- Drive/Motor/Energy – do you have the energy, drive and bandwidth to build out a GLO chapter
- Self Manage and Lead – are you great at starting projects and self-leading to make big things happen
